BBSO 2022
During our 2022 BBSO competition, I had the opportunity to partner sell with Ava Hernandez. For this meeting, I was working with the plant manager of Spa Spectacular and recommended he choose to use our product because of the value it would provide to his team and his customers. The BBSO competition allows students to engage with executives in all steps of the sales call, from introductions to needs ID to the close.
IN CLASS ROLE-PLAY
In this role-play during the ProSales 2 Class, I was tasked with the product demo section of the sales call. My goal was to work through objections and create value for the customer based on previously identified needs.
NEGOTIATION ROLE-PLAY
During this in-class role-play, I led the purchasing side of the negotiation. It was my job as the purchasing manager to create the most value for my company while also securing a product to help solve a need we had. By managing not only the wants and needs of my team but the other side of the table, I was able to help create value for both parties.
